The position has full responsibility for the web and email infrastructure used by TIP and incorporates the utilization of new electronic technology including social networking and video-sharing, to increase TIP’s productivity and effectiveness in these areas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Responsibilities include helping TIP’s communication team use web technology to communicate with and educate journalists worldwide; conducting TIP’s online fundraising effort; coordinating TIP’s online advocacy outreach effort, working with various departments to ensure a clean and accurate database, overseeing the accuracy and freshness of all information on TIP’s websites; training all staff in the effective use of TIP’s web communication tools; supervising web advocacy staff.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree with at least 5 years experience using web, multimedia and email technology to produce measurable results in communication, public policy/issue advocacy and development. Minimum of 2 years management experience including professional communications, program oversight, financial budgeting and employee supervision preferred.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Advanced skills in web design (HTML, CSS), CMS-based website management, database design and maintenance, bulk email, HTML newsletter design, fundraising writing and copyediting, end-user training, and search engine optimization required. Demonstrated experience in working with multi-media and social networking technology essential. The ability to coordinate cross-functional project teams and multi-task across many simultaneous projects with changing priorities is critical.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Interest in Middle Eastern politics and passion for the State of Israel required. Will also be responsible for maintaining online contact databases, converting and uploading text, graphic, audio and video files; formatting and emailing out various pieces; running reports plus maintaining and updating TIP’s social networking outreach via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. and assisting with search engine optimization.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Excellent attention to detail, writing, copy editing/proofreading and web software skills required.   Previous database management experience required but experience with Access, MySQL and database cleaning software preferred.
